JANET JI, CPA, MS TAXATION
Janet Ji is a Managing Director at HLW Fund Services where she provides fund administration, reporting and tax planning and compliance services.
Janet has been with HLW for 10 years. In addition to her role at HLW Fund Services, she focuses on serving HLW's fund clients, including domestic investment partnerships, master/feeder funds, fund of funds and venture capital funds. She has extensive experience in accounting and, specifically, in handling the complex tax issues of securities partnerships.
She recently spent 16 months gaining hands-on experience at one of the Bay Area's best-known hedge funds. There, she managed the mid-office and back-office, and was responsible for month-end net asset value reporting, before returning to HLW.
In addition to serving her clients, Janet also actively participates in developing the HLW and HLW Fund Services staff training program, and in building and implementing Firm-wide standards and processes around tax return procedures.
Janet is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
