KATHLEEN WILLIAMS, CPA
Kathleen Williams is a Managing Director at HLW Fund Services and is also a member of its Executive Board. She has more than 30 years experience providing accounting, tax and consulting services for real estate funds and investors as well as high net-worth families and individuals, with 20 of those years spent at HLW.
For HLW, Kathy focuses on providing compliance, audit and tax services to clients with complex tax and financial reporting requirements, including businesses, individuals, trusts, estates and private foundations. She also specializes in strategic and estate planning, and is known for her work with families in implementing appropriate goals and strategies.
Prior to joining HLW in 1990, Kathy spent 13 years at BDO Seidman, Accountants & Consultants. She began her accounting career as an accountant at Braun Company Mechanical Contractors.
Kathy is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Society of Certified Public Accountants, the EDP Auditors Association and the American Women's Society of Certified Public Accountants. Kathy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Hayward.
